can I buy in your web if i'm not a shop or business?
Unfortunately no. Our webshop is wholesale and exclusive for shops or business that have an account with us. You can see our fabrics but, if you don’t have an account, you won’t be able to see prices or make a purchase.
where can I find your fabrics?
Our fabrics are present in Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. If you want to know where you can buy our fabrics in your country, please ask us by email and we’ll be more than happy to provide you with that information.
how can I open an account?
Login access is reserved for active wholesale customers. Please visit our registration page and complete the form.
After you submit the form, we will review your application and approve your account if you meet the credentials. If you have any questions don’t hesitate in contacting us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
how often do you have new product releases?
We normally add new collections once a month, but it can suffer delays or come in advance, depending on factory response or during summer. In our pre-order items, we always indicate the estimated time of delivery
can I use your images for my web?
If you are our client, yes, of course! And if you need something and can’t find it on our web, feel free to send us an email to email@example.com and we’ll be happy to help you.
conditions to become a retailer
First, you have to be a legit business or shop! Then, we need a VAT, VIES, TAX number or UTR to open your account. This is very important! Without this information, we cannot open your account.
If you are from Europe and you are registered in VIES, your invoice is free from taxes. If not, taxes from PORTUGAL (23%) will be applied to your invoice, as our prices do not include taxes (or shipping).
If you are from outside Europe, we can open an account (under the same conditions) but shipping must be handled and taken care by the client.
shipping costs, delivery time and tracking

At this moment, live tracking is available for all countries, except Switzerland.
The delivery costs are added to the pro forma invoice.
Orders are prepared within 2 working days from the received payment and consigned to the express courier on the first working day available.
Preparation times may increase for a few days during holidays or in promotional periods.
Customs duties, taxes and/or customs clearance fees (including any intermediaries where specified) may be applied for importing the goods and are to be paid by you. Fabrics and Friends can not be held responsible for any delay imputable to the customs clearance procedure.
No shipments are made during the following holidays:

how to order?
Placing an order on fabricsandfriends.pt is very simple and fast:
In the Menu, you can choose to see fabrics by collection or type of fabric. When you login, you’ll be able to see prices and select the products you want, check its information and details. You can also decide to add the desired quantity to the basket simply by clicking on the “ADD TO CART” button.
All the products from Fabrics and Friends show their prices with NO TAX INCLUDED and NO SHIPPING COSTS. The taxes may vary according to your country and your billing/tax information. All references are sold in bolts of 6m for pattern, minimum, and panels in 12 or 10 units. The retail price suggested in each product should be considered as a minimum reference when selling to final costumers.
To see the content of your basket click on the basket icon. This will open a new tab from which you can add more items, cancel your order or proceed to the checkout.
First, you must have a wholesale account with us. Then, once you login, by clicking on the “CHECKOUT” button, a new tab will open. Here you will be asked to enter the data necessary for the shipping and invoicing processes. You can then proceed to finalize your order. Once you have verified the accuracy of your data and of the products you purchase, you must confirm that you have read the terms and conditions. You can then place the order by clicking on the “PLACE ORDER” button.
After you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation email in your inbox. We will prepare your order and email you with the pro forma invoice. When you make the payment, please send the receipt to our email, with your order number. This will accelerate all the process for shipment.
Only when you receive the confirmation of shipping, the purchase process will be concluded.
can I return fabrics?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we give you within 10 working days from the date of delivery of the order to return it. The product must be returned in perfect condition and in the original packaging.
Pack carefully and send the products you wish to return to:

Once we receive the package and check that everything is in order, we will proceed to refund the total amount to your bank account. The refund must occur within 15 days. The cost of return shipping costs is paid by the client, and in any case will be refunded, with the exception that the return is because of defect or error by the Fabrics and Friends.
The customer is responsible for tracking the package with the number that was given and to get the package out of the post office within the prescribed period, given the case that hasn’t been delivered on hand by the postman. If the package is returned because it was not removed from the post office before completing the term, we will proceed to forward the same having the client paid new shipping costs.
what does "on backorder" means?
Means that the fabric is being reprinted in the factory and will return to our shop in the estimated date indicated in the product page.
At the moment, the only payment method available is bank transfer.

can I cancel an order?
To cancel your order, please send an email as soon as possible with your request and your order detail.
Fabrics and Friends reserve the right to cancel your order, in case the bank rejected the order acceptance. You have 5 working days to remit the payment on our account. If the payment is not completed within the set deadline, the order will be cancelled.
do you send samples?
Yes, we do! Contact us to our email with your shipping info and we’ll be happy to send you some through standard post.
